Software Engineer

Summary

Join Cloudflare's Analytics and Reporting (ART) team within CF1 (Zero Trust) and collaborate with engineers, designers, and product managers. Develop and enhance Cloudflare's analytics and reporting capabilities by building software applications for large-scale data analytics. Deliver full-stack solutions encompassing data ingestion, storage, processing, and visualization. Contribute to the architecture and continuous improvement of analytics platforms. See projects through from conception to deployment, providing data-driven solutions for Cloudflare customers. This role requires experience in building and managing software systems, designing distributed systems and REST APIs, and familiarity with various technologies.

Requirements

• 3-5+ years of professional experience building and managing reliable and performant software systems at scale, preferably with some experience in our tech stack
• Experience in designing and architecting distributed systems
• Experience in designing and implementing REST APIs
• Experience in SQL, familiarity with common relational database concepts
• Familiarity with the web and technologies such as web browsers, HTTP, JavaScript

• Experience in building enterprise analytics products
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, Kafka, Clickhouse

Compensation may be adjusted depending on work location. For Colorado, Illinois, Maryland and Minnesota based hires: Estimated annual salary of $137,000 - $167,000. For New York City, Washington, Washington D.C. and California (excluding Bay Area) based hires: Estimated annual salary of $154,000 - $188,000. For Bay Area based hires: Estimated annual salary of $162,000 - $198,000
