Software Engineer

Summary

Join Coalition's Scanning Engine and Data Collection team as a Software Engineer! You'll build and maintain distributed cloud systems to provide critical data for cyber insurance underwriting. This involves scanning the internet and our policyholders' systems, managing threat intelligence, and powering our decision-making and pricing. The role is fully remote, with a team spread across the EU, USA, and Canada. You'll work on challenging problems at internet scale, directly impacting the success of our business. Requirements

• 2+ years of software engineering experience
• Experience with cloud computing technologies (like AWS or similar)
• Experience with at least one of Python or Golang
• Familiar with cloud services
• Familiar with RESTful APIs
• Familiar with code/algorithm complexity analysis
• Excellent oral and written communications skills

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, test, and debug code for cloud services
• Perform regular code reviews
• Participate in design reviews
• Implement robust code

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience with insurance or security technologies, internet scanning or vulnerability management
• In-depth knowledge of AWS infrastructure, CI/CD, and the Atlassian tool suite
• Experience working in the InfoSec, Tech or Cybersecurity markets
