Summary

Join Elastic, the Search AI Company, as a Software Engineer on the Hosted Services team to contribute to the team's roadmap execution, write and review code, collaborate with other teams, and interact with the community. You will be part of a diverse and distributed team that empowers users to monitor their applications running in the Cloud and in Cloud Native environments.

Requirements

• Have acquired experience working with AWS, GCP, Azure or Cloud Native environments
• Be comfortable writing software in Go
• Know how to build and maintain managed services (dev, test, CI/CD, monitoring, doc...)
• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Be an amazing teammate with strong analytical, problem solving, debugging and troubleshooting skills
• Have been in a SRE role or have SRE knowledge
• Stay aware of the trends of the Open Source world and the Observability market

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the team's roadmap execution through backlog issues and bigger projects
• Write and review code to deliver features efficiently
• Collaborate with other teams inside and outside Observability in defining and implementing the end-to-end experience for our Observability products
• Take care of our products and process to make sure we apply the best standards of quality, performance and efficiency
• Interact with the community and help them use and love our products
• Resolve Elastic customer support issues, ensuring SLAs are met
• Participate in 24x365 on-call scheduled rotations with your team
