Requirements

  • Have experience of the full software development life cycle in an agile team including story estimation, planning and grooming a product backlog
  • Have practical experience building sustainable, scalable, and well-documented APIs and front-end SPA framework experience
  • Have a good working knowledge of the tools to do the job such as Azure DevOps , Visual Studio , GIT Source control and SQL Server Management Studio / Azure Data Studio
  • Five years continuous residency in the UK (for security clearance)

Responsibilities

  • Trust your software – you know how it works, how to break it (and fix it)
  • Iteration planning and estimation
  • Increasing your development experience and knowledge
  • Taking responsibility for pull requests and contributing to tech decisions together with the team and other stakeholders
  • Contributing to and maintaining team documentation wikis
  • Front end SPA development with Blazor
  • .NET Core API development with C#
  • Entity Framework

Preferred Qualifications

  • Continuous Integration and Deployment using Azure DevOps
  • Experience with Hangfire, RabbitMQ, MongoDB
  • Use of Test Driven Development and writing Unit Tests
