Summary
Join Eurofins Scientific as a Software Engineer and contribute to a transformative roadmap for the Forensics divisions in the UK and Europe. You will work in a remote role with occasional meetups in Birmingham and Tamworth, developing full-stack applications using Blazor, .NET Core, and C#. This permanent, full-time position requires experience in the full software development life cycle within an agile team. Requirements
- Have experience of the full software development life cycle in an agile team including story estimation, planning and grooming a product backlog
- Have practical experience building sustainable, scalable, and well-documented APIs and front-end SPA framework experience
- Have a good working knowledge of the tools to do the job such as Azure DevOps , Visual Studio , GIT Source control and SQL Server Management Studio / Azure Data Studio
- Five years continuous residency in the UK (for security clearance)
Responsibilities
- Trust your software β you know how it works, how to break it (and fix it)
- Iteration planning and estimation
- Increasing your development experience and knowledge
- Taking responsibility for pull requests and contributing to tech decisions together with the team and other stakeholders
- Contributing to and maintaining team documentation wikis
- Front end SPA development with Blazor
- .NET Core API development with C#
- Entity Framework
Preferred Qualifications
- Continuous Integration and Deployment using Azure DevOps
- Experience with Hangfire, RabbitMQ, MongoDB
- Use of Test Driven Development and writing Unit Tests
