Summary

The job is for a remote Software Engineer position at European Dynamics (ED) working on challenging applications for major public organizations in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. The employee will receive continuous coaching and training.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field or equivalent working experience
• Enthusiasm for programming and knowledge of Java, Python
• Knowledge in the area of Geographical Information Systems (GIS)
• Quality- and team-oriented
• English and German

Responsibilities

• Participating in the design and implementation of advanced web-based applications
• Designing, developing, testing, and maintaining large-scale applications
• Assuring effective team collaboration
• Adhering to software quality requirements
• Drafting technical documentation

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in Java, Python, web services (REST or SOAP), Spring Boot, micro-services, object-relational mapping (e.g. Hibernate), XML and/or databases (e.g. SQL) desired
