Requirements

  • Proficiency in C/C++
  • Experience with Git
  • Experience with Gcc/make
  • Experience in Linux environment
  • Scripting skills (sh, bash, python)
  • Experience with Multithreading
  • Networking skills (sockets, TCP/UDP/RTP, multicast/unicast)
  • Experience with Shared memory

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Image properties (fourcc, colour space, HDR/SDR)
  • Experience with Video codecs (H.264, H.265, JPEG2000, JPEG-XS, DnXHD, ProRes)
  • Experience with Media containers (MPEG-TS, mov, mxf)
  • Experience with Broadcast production (SDI, SMPTE ST2110, timecode, NLE)
  • Experience with Time systems and time distribution (UTC/TAI, IEEE1588, SMPTE ST2059, leap seconds)
  • Experience with Network streaming (SRT, RIST)
  • Experience with Processing acceleration (SIMD/SSE/AVX, CUDA, OpenCL)
  • Knowledge of Linux kernel (drivers, networking, filesystems, memory management, tracing)
  • Experience with FFmpeg
  • Experience with Matrox DSX SDK
  • Experience with NewTek NDI SDK
  • Experience with Linux packaging/distribution (dpkg-deb, debootstrap, pbuilder, rootfs
