Software Engineer

Summary

Join Feedzai's Engineering team and contribute to the development of its next-generation fraud detection platform. As a key member, you will work iteratively within agile teams, write reusable and testable code, and participate in the full software development lifecycle. You'll contribute to best practices and the company's cloud-native SaaS strategy, tackling challenges in distributed systems, UI/UX, and database design. The ideal candidate possesses 3+ years of Java backend development experience, a relevant degree, and strong coding skills. Requirements

• 3+ years of experience building Java backend software or similar
• BSc/MSc degree in Computer Science, or a similar technical degree
• Strong coding skills and Computer Science fundamentals
• Experience in programming high-performance, concurrent server-side code
• Experience designing and building modern web applications
• Experience with modern distributed systems platforms and patterns such as Spark, RabbitMQ, Kafka or Cassandra
• Passionate desire to learn and grow
• Able to bring ideas into the team and to work out solutions to tough problems autonomously

Responsibilities

• Work iteratively within our agile teams to develop our products and underlying technical frameworks
• Write reusable and testable code using the best tools for the job and participate in code reviews
• Be hands-on, executing the full software development life cycle
• Contribute to best practices and guidelines for software development
• Contribute to the cloud-native SaaS strategy of Feedzai
