Software Engineer

You will collaborate with engineers and management, contributing to the team's roadmap and improving existing systems. The ideal candidate possesses experience in platform engineering, cloud environments, and CI/CD, with a holistic approach to software development. You'll work with Kubernetes, Docker, and Infrastructure as Code, contributing to projects like next-gen CI/CD and security automation. Requirements

• Have engineering/software development experience within a platform group delivering services to internal engineering teams
• Have experience working in a cloud environment
• Have experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform/Crossplane
• Be familiar with Kubernetes administration
• Have experience or interest in implementing, integrating, and maintaining observability systems and processes

Responsibilities

• Help maintain, improve, and extend existing internal engineering platform tools and processes
• Participate in choosing the team's focus areas, including deciding when and how to sunset outdated systems
• Help design, compare, and choose appropriate solutions for the internal engineering platform (IEP)
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of the IEP
• Manage and develop the CI/CD platform
• Automate build, release, and deployment processes
• Develop application configuration management tooling
• Automate software updates
• Manage software artifacts
• Work with diverse internal teams to support implementation of their requirements
• Participate in on-call rotation to support platform tooling
