Requirements

  • At least 6+ years of experience in Software Application Development
  • 6+ Years of Java experience building backend http services
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or equivalent working experience
  • Strong understanding of non-relational and relational database systems
  • A proven track record of building and shipping highly available and scalable production HTTP Web Services
  • Experience designing and documenting APIs
  • AWS cloud platform with server-based and serverless infrastructure
  • Strong TypeScript or JavaScript (ES6) skills
  • Experience with unit testing and test-driven development
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
  • Strong belief in and use of best practices
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders
