Software Engineer

Summary

Join Luscii, a remote-first digital healthcare company, as a Backend Developer PHP. You will build and improve our healthcare application, focusing on scalable APIs, databases, and data processing infrastructure. This role involves implementing features, splitting requirements, improving code, creating automated tests, and maintaining performance. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of PHP development experience and familiarity with various technologies and methodologies.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a PHP developer
• A bachelor degree
• Knowledge/experience with Laravel framework
• Experience with RESTful APIs
• Proficiency in navigating the AWS stack
• You're familiar with Scrum, Kanban, and Git version control
• Unit tests are part of your work, and you're familiar with test frameworks like PHPUnit
• Experience with microservices
• CI/CD
• English is our primary language
• For now, we are looking for candidates who are already living and working in The Netherlands

Responsibilities

• Implementing features from the backlog
• Splitting requirements in actionable tasks
• Improving the code base
• Creating automated tests
• Triaging and fixing errors on acceptance and production
• Maintaining and improving performance
