Requirements
- 4+ years of hands-on experience as a Salesforce Administrator
- Proficient in Salesforce user management, including roles, profiles, permission sets, and sharing models
- Skilled in building Flows, page layouts with Lightning App Builder, validation rules, and custom reports/dashboards
- Experience creating custom apps, objects, formula fields, and workflows
- Ability to translate business needs into scalable Salesforce solutions
- Strong grasp of Salesforce platform capabilities, limitations, and best practices
- Experience partnering with Salesforce Architects and Developers to design scalable solutions
- Comfortable collaborating with engineers, product managers, and clients
- Clear communicator with strong documentation and project ownership skills
- Experience troubleshooting system issues and maintaining platform health
- Bachelorβs degree or equivalent experience
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Must meet any other requirements for government contracts for which candidates are hired
- Work authorization that doesnβt require visa sponsorship, now or in the future
- May be subject to a government background check or security clearance, depending on the contract
Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize Salesforce environments for government clients, including user administration, permissions, roles, and profiles
- Design, build, and maintain reports, dashboards, and automated workflows (Flows, Process Builder, approval processes) to enhance client operations
- Lead migration and configuration initiatives, ensuring smooth implementation and adoption of Salesforce solutions
- Troubleshoot and resolve system errors, workflow failures, and user-reported issues to maintain platform health
- Conduct regular system health checks and assist in release management to ensure smooth and stable Salesforce deployments
- Collaborate closely with clients, product teams, engineers, and contractors to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions
- Act as a trusted advisor by communicating project updates, proposing improvements, and ensuring alignment with client goals
- Participate in Agile ceremonies such as standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and demos to contribute to continuous improvement and team collaboration
- Share expertise with colleagues and support documentation efforts to promote best practices and long-term system maintainability
Preferred Qualifications
- Salesforce.com Administrator certification (ADM201 required, ADM211 preferred)
- Experience with OmniStudio, Salesforce Public Sector Solution, Sales Cloud, Experience Cloud
- Experience integrating Salesforce into broader systems
- Experience working with government clients or in client-facing roles
- Experience working in an Agile environment with a multidisciplinary team
