Software Engineer

Summary

Join Red Canary's engineering team as an Infrastructure Engineer and contribute to building and operating a platform that delivers unmatched threat detection and response. You will work closely with product engineering teams, setting infrastructure standards to support SaaS products and contributing to cloud platforms and backend systems. You'll foster a strong DevOps culture, maintain internal tooling, and build multi-cloud container environments using Kubernetes. Requirements

• Have 2+ years of software engineering experience
• Expertise with Infrastructure as Code (ex. Terraform)
• Experience with IT automation tools (ex. Ansible, Salt)
• Understanding of Kubernetes and container orchestration (ex. Helm, Docker)
• Experience managing cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred, GCP or Azure also valued)
• A solid understanding of cloud networking (ex. VPC design, peering, DNS, VPNs)
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like ArgoCD, GitHub Actions, and CI tools (CircleCI preferred)
• Scripting skills

Responsibilities

• Work closely with our product engineering teams to set infrastructure standards to support our SaaS products
• Understand and contribute to our cloud platforms, infrastructure automation, and backend systems
• Encourage a strong DevOps culture that prioritizes collaboration, automation and continuous improvement
• Maintain and create internal tooling to for engineers, in order to enable a consistent experience across product teams and make onboarding as efficient as possible
• Build out and maintain multi-cloud container environments using Kubernetes
