Software Engineer

Summary

Join our Frontend Platform team as a software engineer and play a crucial role in enhancing the developer experience, ensuring high-quality code, and enabling the efficient delivery of frontend features and improvements.

Requirements

• Have at least 4+ years of experience in frontend engineering, with a deep understanding of Javascript, TypeScript and React
• Have some experience with visual regression testing
• Be passionate about developer experience (DX) and developer velocity
• Be able to drive a project from idea to completion without a step-by-step guide

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain a visual regression system to prevent visual bugs from sneaking in unintentionally
• Maintain our integration test suite with a goal of easy implementation, zero flake, and fast execution
• Improve the overall codebase health by bringing older areas up to date with the latest best practices

Preferred Qualifications

• Have experience implementing visual regression testing
• Have a history of deep performance work
• Have experience with Next.js and Webpack performance optimization
• Have extensive experience with JavaScript bundling tools
• Have built and maintained an integration test suite with extensive API mocks
