Heidi is hiring a Software Engineer (Backend) to join their engineering team working on the Medical AI Scribe platform. The engineer will be responsible for developing back-end features with a deep technical understanding and strong problem-solving skills. They are looking for individuals who have experience building SaaS products, understand design principles, and can bridge the gap between technical specifics and business needs.

Requirements

• Strong sense of ownership & strong problem-solving skills
• A focus on fast delivery with quality
• The ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with the team
• Strong back-end development experience in Python
• Writing testable, effective and communicative code
• Data modeling, design patterns, understanding trade-offs
• Data & application security knowledge and skills
• Experience in integrating with third-party systems
• Competent with source code control and CI/CD pipeline technologies
• Architecting and building highly available, scalable, secure & performant systems

Responsibilities

• Ultimately you will have the opportunity to work with the engineering mastermind behind Heidi developing Heidi AI products which will change the face of healthcare
• Autonomously deliver beautiful & robust code with considerations on code structure design and scalability
• Collaborate with the team to solve exciting technical problems and grow quickly
• Deep dive into weird edge cases and solve hard & tiny problems for our users
