Software Engineer, CDN Security

Summary

Join Vercel's CDN Security team as a Software Engineer and contribute to securing customer websites by identifying malicious traffic patterns. You will analyze traffic patterns, build and operate a scalable firewall, and advance web security. This role requires at least 3 years of experience handling denial-of-service attacks, knowledge of web servers and network protocols, and experience with Go or Lua. The remote base pay range is $187,000-$258,000, and the total compensation includes benefits and equity.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of relevant experience handling denial of service attacks
• Knowledgeable and experienced with web servers, and network protocols (e.g. HTTP, TCP)
• Experience working in Go or Lua
