Summary
Join TigerGraph, a leading provider of advanced analytics and machine learning on connected data, as a backend infrastructure developer for our cloud platform, TigerGraph Savanna. You will be developing SaaS offerings, collaborating with the core database team to build a cloud-native and elastic TigerGraph, contributing to cloud service offerings and architecture design, and maintaining a scalable database cloud offering. This role requires a BS or MS in Computer Science or a related field, at least 3 years of experience building microservice architecture for large-scale systems, and familiarity with various programming languages, databases, and cloud platforms. The position offers the opportunity to work on a powerful and performant graph database engine, making it accessible to enterprises and developers. While based remotely, some in-office work may be required depending on location.
Requirements
- BS or MS Degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical field
- At least 3 years of experience on building microservice architecture, past experience on building large scale systems
- Familiarity with at least one of the following languages: C, C++, Go, Java, Python
- Familiarity with at least one of the relational databases: MySQL, Postgres or equivalent
- Experience or familiarity with AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Platform
- Familiarity with cloud operations, experience or ability to respond to operational issues
- A self starter who has experience with multi-functional technical teams and decision makers
Responsibilities
- Develop SaaS offerings for TigerGraph Savanna (TigerGraph as a Service)
- Collaborate with TigerGraph core database team to develop cloud native and elastic TigerGraph
- Contribute to the cloud service offering and provide architecture design
- Updating and maintaining a scalable database cloud offering
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications with cloud platforms
- Familiar with container technologies and Container Orchestration Systems (Kubernetes)
Benefits
- If the candidate lives with a commuting distance from a TigerGraph office (Redwood City or San Diego, CA), the candidate will be expected to work from the office 2-3 days/week
- The anticipated salary range for candidates who will work in Redwood City, CA is $130,000 - $145,000
