Join StackAdapt's Frontend Infrastructure team and empower product engineers to build exceptional user experiences. Design, improve, and debug front-end systems and tooling at scale. Identify and address development lifecycle bottlenecks. Maintain a modern and efficient front-end stack by evaluating and adopting new tools and frameworks. Write scalable and testable code for shared libraries and CI workflows. Collaborate on architectural decision-making and take ownership of projects. Requirements
- 2+ years of full-time work experience building and maintaining complex front-end systems, libraries, or tooling at scale
- Knowledge of our front-end technology stack - React, TypeScript, Redux/Zustand, Material UI, Jest, React Testing Library, GraphQL
- Experience owning technical projects end-to-end, from design to delivery
- Strong understanding of scalable front-end architecture, monorepos, and shared code patterns
- Basic understanding of modern CI/CD workflows for front-end development, such as bundling, static analysis, test automation, and deployment
- Experience analyzing, benchmarking, and optimizing front-end performance, including load times, runtime efficiency, and bundle size
Responsibilities
- Design, improve, and debug the front-end systems and tooling that power our internal development workflows at scale
- Identify and address bottlenecks in the front-end development lifecycle
- Keep our front-end stack modern and efficient by evaluating and adopting evolving tools, frameworks, and standards
- Write extensible, scalable, and testable code for shared libraries, developer tooling, and CI workflows
- Take part in technical planning and architectural decision-making
- Collaborate with team members on designing scalable, well-tested, and well-documented front-end architecture
- Take responsibility and ownership of projects from start to finish
- Contribute to code reviews and technical spec reviews
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working on product teams to design and iterate on user-facing front-end experiences in close collaboration with designers and stakeholders
