Software Engineer I

Summary

Join Affirm's Contact Experience team and contribute to building and maintaining customer-facing platforms. Requirements

• Have previous work or internship experience working on both front-end and back-end development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Salesforce Lightning Web Components (or any other front development framework e.g. React) and server-side languages like Salesforce Apex, Python or Kotlin
• Be familiar with the building blocks of distributed systems, and the technologies like AWS, MySQL and Kubernetes
• Master taking a simple problem or business scenario into a solution that interacts with multiple software components, and executing on it by writing clear, easily understood, well tested and extensible code
• Be comfortable navigating a large code base, debugging others' code, and providing feedback to other engineers through code reviews
• Demonstrate through your experience that you take ownership of your growth, proactively seeking feedback from your team, your manager, and your stakeholders
• Have strong verbal and written communication skills that support effective collaboration with our global engineering team
