Requirements

• Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Possess 3+ years of experience in full-stack development, preferably in a cloud environment
• Be proficient in multiple programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript, PHP) and frameworks (e.g., React, Node.js)
• Have strong experience with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• Have experience with database technologies (SQL/MySQL and NoSQL) and RESTful API development
• Be able to execute both open-ended and pixel-perfect design requirements to spec
• Be familiar with web and mobile development best practices

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, efficient, and reliable full-stack applications
• Work with a variety of languages and frameworks, with a focus on both front-end and back-end development
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Ensure code quality, robustness, and scalability through comprehensive testing and code reviews
• Stay up-to-date with emerging cloud computing and software development trends to continually improve our products
• Troubleshoot, identify and fix issues in production environments
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes and practices

Preferred Qualifications

• Have 5+ years of experience in full-stack development
• Possess experience in the hospitality industry
• Demonstrate an entrepreneurial spirit, being self-directed, innovative, and action-oriented in fast-paced environments
• Exhibit problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail, a love for building new things, and the ability to thrive in ambiguity and failure
• Possess excellent communication skills, collaborating effectively with teams in a fully remote environment and discussing complex topics with technical and non-technical audiences
• Be independent and reliable, able to work independently and take ownership of projects while ensuring deadlines and expectations are met or exceeded
• Show adaptability and a willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced startup environment
