Software Engineer II

Requirements

• 2+ years experience working on software projects with a cross-functional team
• Experience with building service-oriented applications or web-based front-end solutions
• Working knowledge of Node.js, Javascript, Typescript and/or C# (Python is a plus), and testing frameworks
• Working knowledge of databases (SQL & NoSQL)
• Version control using Git and collaborative tools like GitHub
• Experience with frontend libraries like React
• In case you want to enjoy the benefit of working fully remote, a reliable internet connection is needed, must meet a minimum of 50 mbps

Responsibilities

• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in accordance with established standards
• Debug and resolve software defects
• Work closely with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement software solutions
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
• Write and execute unit tests to verify functionality and identify any defects
• Collaborate with QA teams to ensure quality deliverables
• Seek feedback from peers and supervisors to enhance technical skills and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement
• Foster a healthy and collaborative team culture where you operate with empathy and understanding

Preferred Qualifications

• Completed a B.S./M.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Experience working with cloud computing platforms, such as AWS
• Experience writing Infrastructure as Code
• Experience with serverless systems
