Summary
Join Braze's Chat Apps team as a Software Engineer and contribute to building and scaling our newest chat messaging channels. You will collaborate with a team to develop new features, enhance performance, and make key architectural decisions. This role requires 2-5 years of full-stack development experience, a strong understanding of distributed systems, and excellent communication skills. Requirements
- 2-5 years of full-stack development experience
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, data structures and algorithms
- A self starter with great communication and organizational skills
- Prior experience working in a team environment
Responsibilities
- Work with teammates to build out new features
- Improve performance
- Provide guidance on key architectural decisions
- Tackle significant engineering challenges, such as architecting new iterations of critical components for our systems
- Optimize our systems for resilience as they scale
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional experience with any of: Ruby, Rails, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Redis, Sidekiq, React, TypeScript
- Professional experience building distributed systems at scale
- Experience with agile processes
