Software Engineer II, Cloud Security

Summary

Join HashiCorp's Cloud Infrastructure & Platform Security team as a Software Engineer II, focusing on building scalable software to solve security problems in a multi-cloud environment. This fully remote role requires 3+ years of full-stack software development experience with expertise in cloud-native application development and deployment. You will develop applications, implement best practices across a multi-cloud environment, and partner with stakeholders to define secure environments. Experience with Go, Typescript, Python, Terraform, and GitHub Actions is preferred, along with AWS cloud infrastructure security experience. Requirements

• You have 3+ years of full stack software development experience (Go, Typescript, and Python being the preferred programming languages)
• You have experience in developing and deploying cloud native applications in production across geographic regions
• You have experience codifying infrastructure and deployment pipelines (Terraform and GitHub Actions preferred)
• You have experience securing cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred)
• You have indirect experience in security, being that person who consistently recognizes and fixes security-related issues or problems with the systems, services, or applications you or others manage
• You are willing to participate in an on-call rotation that responds to operational incidents
• You agree with, understand, and consistently display the principles of HashiCorp in your interactions and in your work
• You have strong written and verbal communication skills
• You have experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• You are comfortable working on a remote and globally distributed team
