Software Engineer II, Platform Engineer

Requirements

• Be a tech enthusiast who likes to work with people and teams
• Be willing to learn from Senior and Staff Software Engineers
• Be based remotely in the UK or Poland. Be able to work and excel in a remote environment
• Be an owner of your own progress as an individual
• Have 2+ years of experience in full-stack software engineering, preferably web development
• Have experience building applications in Python or Ruby on Rails, ReactJS and TypeScript

Responsibilities

• Work with your squad on a variety of challenging projects
• Collaborate effectively as a software engineer and team member
• Work with Senior and Staff level engineers to gain experience quickly and build delightful features and products for our community, as well as the thousands of companies who trust HackerOne with their cybersecurity posture
• Interact with our Infrastructure and Data teams, and many other engineering teams to guide our platform towards new heights of reliability, quality and performance
• Make an impact at both the squad and project levels
• Debug incoming issues and analyze new work within your squad’s domain
• Independently coordinate efforts around new initiatives within your squad, and—with support from others—collaborate across the broader engineering team

Preferred Qualifications

Have experience with Cloudflare Zero Trust Services & VPN Technologies, ElasticSearch/ OpenSearch, GraphQL
