Software Engineer III

Summary

Join Vacasa's payments team as a Software Developer and build modern services and APIs using serverless cloud architectures. This 100% remote role, based in Santiago, Chile, requires at least 3 years of software project experience with cross-functional teams and proficiency in at least one programming language (Python preferred). You will help build applications and services, write and test code, participate in code reviews, and share responsibility for application deployment and operation. Requirements

• At least 3 years experience working on software projects with a cross-functional team
• Experience with building service-oriented applications
• Experience working with SQL or NoSQL databases
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python preferred)

Responsibilities

• Help build applications and services to support the business
• Write code with automated tests and test the code of your peers
• Review your team’s work via code reviews and discussion
• Share responsibility with your team for provisioning, deployment, and operation of applications and services in production environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with cloud computing platforms, such as AWS
• Experience with serverless systems
• Experience writing Infrastructure as Code
