Summary
Join Heidi, a rapidly growing healthtech startup, as a Backend Integration Engineer and contribute to the integration of advanced AI solutions that are transforming healthcare. You will work closely with engineering and product teams, focusing on third-party integrations and backend development to support healthcare initiatives. Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience in software development, with a focus on backend or integration work
- Proficiency in Python and familiarity with RESTful APIs
- Familiarity with data storage solutions, such as MongoDB or other NoSQL databases
- Familiarity with GitHub for source control, version management, and collaboration
- Interest in integrating third-party systems and solving complex data integration challenges
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical details to non-technical stakeholders
- Willingness to learn and contribute actively within a collaborative team
Responsibilities
- Support and develop third-party integrations, implementing APIs and managing data flow across systems
- Write clean, well-structured, and efficient code to ensure reliable integration solutions using Python
- Conduct testing and troubleshooting to ensure seamless integration functionality
- Collaborate with the senior engineers and team leads to document, optimize, and test integrations
- Contribute to API development and maintenance, improving performance and adhering to best practices
- Use GitHub for source control, participating in code reviews and maintaining version control
- Contribute to process improvements, and share knowledge across the team
