Summary

The job is for a Software Engineer at PolicyMe, a Toronto-based startup modernizing the Canadian insurance landscape. The role involves building, architecting, and scaling PolicyMe's platform. Requirements

• 2+ years of experience excluding co-op
• BS degree in Computer Science
• Experience with web development (HTML5/CSS3/ESNext/React/Python/Node)
• Experience working in UNIX/Linux environments

Responsibilities

• Build new and exciting product features in our React-based web application
• Contribute to our custom UI component library using shared npm packages
• Design and create new APIs in Python
• Integrating with various third-party systems (payments, id verification, contracting, etc..)
• Contribute to group technical design discussions
