Summary

First Help Financial is seeking a motivated Software Engineering Intern for remote or Greater Boston area work. The intern will collaborate with senior engineers on software product design and development, gain expertise on Loan Originating platform, build internal REST-based Middleware and webservices, and more. Requires master's degree in Computer Science or related field, full stack development experience, exposure to web application development, SQL databases, Java or Python, JavaScript frameworks like React and Angular, strong problem-solving skills, ability to learn new technologies, and effective communication with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Pursuing a master’s degree (at time of internship) in Computer Science or related field
• Full Stack Development/Experience
• Exposure to web application development and SQL databases
• Experience with Java or Python
• Experience with JavaScript frameworks like React and Angular
• Exposure to OOD/OOP, data structures, and algorithm analysis
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to learn new technologies and frameworks
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences
