Requirements

  • 9+ years of software development experience
  • 3+ years of experience managing engineers
  • Prior experience at a hypergrowth company
  • Experience with modern tech stack (JavaScript, Node, React / React Native) and cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a demonstrated history of working asynchronously
  • You are versatile and comfortable working on different parts of the stack. You don’t mind jumping into unfamiliar territories on occasion
  • You maintain a healthy balance between perfectionism and pragmatism

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate the execution of our technical roadmap with a focus on quality, timely product development, simplicity, and value delivery
  • Lead and mentor software engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement
  • Communicate with business stakeholders to understand goals and translate them to technical architecture and requirements
  • Have a data-driven, iterative approach to building products
  • Estimate product scope and timelines
  • Collaborate with team to contribute to technical solutions that satisfy business requirements with a focus on scalability, stability, efficiency, maintainability and extensibility
  • Build products and software using modern & stable technologies
