Requirements
- 9+ years of software development experience
- 3+ years of experience managing engineers
- Prior experience at a hypergrowth company
- Experience with modern tech stack (JavaScript, Node, React / React Native) and cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a demonstrated history of working asynchronously
- You are versatile and comfortable working on different parts of the stack. You donβt mind jumping into unfamiliar territories on occasion
- You maintain a healthy balance between perfectionism and pragmatism
Responsibilities
- Facilitate the execution of our technical roadmap with a focus on quality, timely product development, simplicity, and value delivery
- Lead and mentor software engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement
- Communicate with business stakeholders to understand goals and translate them to technical architecture and requirements
- Have a data-driven, iterative approach to building products
- Estimate product scope and timelines
- Collaborate with team to contribute to technical solutions that satisfy business requirements with a focus on scalability, stability, efficiency, maintainability and extensibility
- Build products and software using modern & stable technologies
