Software Engineer-React Native

Summary

Join Ditto, a globally remote team, as a founding Software Engineer for our new no-code/low-code product. You will play a key role in developing and maintaining a responsive and scalable UI using React.js and React Native, building and deploying Android applications on the Google Play Store. This high-visibility role requires expertise in React and React Native, experience deploying mobile apps, and a strong understanding of front-end architecture. Requirements

• 3+ years experience as a Software Engineer
• Proficiency in TypeScript, React and React Native
• Experience deploying mobile applications for Android, including an understanding of Google Play Store submission processes
• Familiarity with web application deployment
• Experience in developing React Native libraries (Native Modules)
• Solid understanding of modern front-end build pipelines and tools (e.g., Webpack, Babel, etc.)
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and within a team

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain responsive and scalable UI components using React.js
• Build and optimize applications for Android using React Native
• Deploy the Android app on the Google Play Store on a regular basis
• Implement best practices in front-end architecture, including component-driven development, code reusability, and performance optimization
• Ensure high-quality code by writing unit tests and integration tests
• Work closely with backend engineers to ensure seamless integration of APIs

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with mobile-first and responsive design principles
• Experience with end-to-end testing frameworks such as Cypress or Jest
• Experience with Kotlin or Swift programming languages
