The job is for a Senior Student Software Tester at Magnet Forensics, a global leader in digital investigative software. The role involves working within an agile team to accomplish the company's mission, implementing test strategies, creating and executing test plans, designing testing tools and environments, and demonstrating values of CARE, OWN, DEDICATE, and EVOLVE.

Requirements

Senior student enrolled in a Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or related program

Responsibilities

• Implement robust test strategies and create innovative exploratory testing
• Determine suitable testing areas and coverage
• Create, execute, and manage test plans, including both automated and manual tests
• Design and implement testing tools and environments required to execute testing effectively and efficiently

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with test automation and scripting is an asset
• Experience with two or more of: Test automation, Manual / Smoke / Regression / Behavioural testing, Performance testing and optimization, Reverse engineering, Distributed system testing, Security testing, CI/CD, Operating systems (at an advanced level) – Windows / Linux / Mac, Networking
