Solar Programs, Associate - Application Processing

Summary

Join Energy Solutions' Distributed Energy Resources (DERS) team as a Solar Programs Associate – Application Processing and contribute to the nation's progress toward a decarbonized grid. You will play a vital role in driving customer participation in programs incentivizing distributed and community solar adoption. This hybrid position requires a minimum of one day a week in the office (Oakland, CA, Orange, CA, Portland, OR, or Chicago, IL). Daily responsibilities involve processing complex project applications, tracking progress, communicating with customers and team members, maintaining efficiency and accuracy, and participating in team meetings and training. The position offers a competitive salary ($60,000 - $70,000 annually), a generous retirement package, and an excellent benefits package.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree
• A minimum of 2 years of work experience or tenure in related position(s) in lieu of a Bachelor's degree
• Strong written communication skills
• Computer literate with experience in MS Office Suite

Responsibilities

• Process complex project applications according to documented standard operating procedures
• Track progress of work assignments, including work to be done and work completed
• Provide professional written communication/questions to customers who have submitted applications
• Communicate with other team members and supervisors using collaboration tools to resolve application questions
• Maintain a high degree of efficiency and accuracy while under time constraints
• Participate in team meetings and complete regular training sessions to expand program knowledge
