Solid Edge Modeler/Drafter

Summary

Join Canam Group Romania, a leading manufacturer of custom-built trailers in North America, as a 3D Modeler and 2D Shop Drawing Specialist. You will be responsible for creating 3D models and detailed 2D drawings of steel trailer components using Solid Edge and Teamcenter software. This role involves collaborating with the coordinator to ensure accuracy and completeness of drawings, incorporating corrections and adjustments, and maintaining a positive work environment. Requirements

• Graduate from Technical High School or Technical University or related experience and training
• Advanced knowledge and/or experience in using Solid Edge and Teamcenter
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures, drawings and job specifications
• Ability to operate necessary computer software
• Ability to communicate effectively with the coordinator
• Good knowledge of the English language

Responsibilities

• Examine documents such as drawings and specifications to detail 2D drawings
• Prepare detailed 2D drawings by modeling individual parts, sheet metal parts and assemblies
• Confer with the coordinator to obtain missing information and to resolve discrepancies and compile required changes to documents
• Consult with the coordinator for any special considerations
• Incorporate and understand corrections and/or adjustments after drawings are reviewed
• Use computer-assisted drafting equipment and software (Solid Edge)
• Maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating effectively with coworkers and supervisors
• Perform other job duties as assigned by the supervisor

Preferred Qualifications

• French language would be a plus
