Solution Architect

Summary

Join VGS, the world's leader in payment tokenization, as a Solutions Architect and leverage your technical expertise to drive business value for customers. As a trusted advisor, you will propose solutions based on your industry knowledge, product expertise, and business acumen. You will own all technical aspects of sales, communicate product features, develop demos, conduct assessments, design solutions, work with developers, lead technical responses, and represent VGS at trade shows.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of customer-facing experience as a software engineer, solutions architect, or sales engineer in a data, security or SaaS product company
• Experienced in web services, APIs, full-stack development and able to understand how a wide variety of technologies and systems interact with each other
• Is comfortable writing production-ready code on top of VGS’s primary deployment languages - Python, JavaScript, Java, or Ruby
• Great communicator, comfortable explaining complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Strong collaboration, interpersonal, negotiation and prioritization skills

Responsibilities

• Own all the technical aspects of the sale
• Communicate product features and benefits in pre and post sales situations to potential customers
• Develop and present branded, custom technical demos that showcase specific features that show how VGS can help prospective customers meet their business objectives
• Conduct assessments of customer's requirements and define and architect VGS solutions to meet the needs of their business
• Design solution built on VGS capabilities to meet prospect business and technical requirements
• Work with prospective customer developers to implement proof-of-concepts integrating VGS and third-party components
• Lead technical responses for RFI’s and RFP’s
• Represent VGS at industry-specific trade shows acting as the technical voice of the company
• Effectively channel product feedback and enhancement requests to Product Manager and Engineering stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical certifications such as CISSP or AWS Solutions Architect is preferred
• Sales experience is preferred
• Understanding and experience working in payments ecosystem is preferred
