Solutions Design Specialist

SeatGeek
Summary
Join SeatGeek's Sales Consulting team as a Solutions Design Specialist and create compelling sales presentations and proposals for senior-level executives. You will design and build sales decks, partner with sales executives and designers, develop an understanding of the SeatGeek platform, and work with cross-functional teams. Responsibilities include creating financial models showcasing product ROI and developing templates and processes for team efficiency. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience in sales, pre-sales, or consulting, preferably in sports or ticketing, with expertise in presentation design and financial modeling. A natural eye for design, attention to detail, and strong communication skills are essential. Previous experience as a strategy or management consultant and in technology or SaaS is preferred.
Requirements
- 3+ years in either sales, pre-sales, or consulting, preferably with exposure to the sports or ticketing industry
- Expertise in building compelling, information-packed presentations with clear narratives (preference for Google Slides). If you were the person on your last team who everyone relied upon to build the best decks, we want to talk to you! Even better if you have received formal/informal training in presentation design
- A natural eye for design with acute attention to detail
- Ability to balance urgency/expediency with borderline perfectionism
- Experience with financial modeling
- Experience supporting high-value, complex sales processes or consulting engagements
- World-class oral, written, collaboration, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work in ambiguous environments and as a part of a large, matrixed team to solve problems and “make things happen”
- An iterative, collaborative working style for co-creating alongside teammates
- Openness to feedback and coaching
Responsibilities
- Design and build sales decks - lots of them! You will “take the pen” on outlining a first draft of key presentations and advise internal partners on developing a compelling narrative with both “vertical” and “horizontal” logic
- Become a trusted partner to SeatGeek’s sales executives, business consultants, and solutions consultants
- Partner with our designers to ensure aesthetic quality and consistency
- Develop advanced understanding of the SeatGeek platform, its use cases and value drivers, our competitive differentiation, and industry trends and best practices
- Work seamlessly with internal cross-functional teams, including product, R&D, marketing, and client services
- Create financial models to tell a story around the ROI of various product offerings
