Solutions Engineer

Join our team as a Solutions Engineer and play a critical role in our sales and customer success efforts for high-volume clients. You will work closely with our sales team to provide technical expertise, design solutions, and implement them using the Shippo API. This is an opportunity to make merchants successful through world-class shipping.

Requirements

• Ability to clearly articulate technical issues and solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience identifying, diagnosing, and resolving issues related to APIs, ensuring smooth integration and performance
• Strong understanding of SQL for querying databases and troubleshooting data-related issues
• Ability to effectively explain API-related issues to customers, offering clear, actionable solutions
• Ability to read and understand Python code for debugging and issue identification purposes

Responsibilities

• Act as a technical advisor to our sales team and prospects, with a focus on high-volume clients
• Understand client requirements and design solutions to meet their needs using the Shippo API
• Support the delivery of product demonstrations and technical presentations to potential clients and existing customers
• Assist with the development of proposals and statements of work
• Help develop proof-of-concept solutions to showcase Shippo's product capabilities
• Create and drive customer onboarding plans
• Collaborate with sales, product, and engineering teams to ensure smooth integration and delivery of solutions
• Capture and share product feedback with the product and engineering teams to help grow our offering
• Contribute to creating and maintaining technical documentation and training materials
• Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance your technical skills and knowledge
