Summary

The job involves managing sales activities for manufacturer representatives in a specific region, developing sales strategies, setting targets, and building relationships with key customers. This position reports to the Vice President of Sales.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Engineering or related field required
  • Minimum of five years of sales experience in the electrical manufacturing industry required
  • Minimum of three years of experience managing a sales rep team required
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas required
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills required
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required
  • Three or more years of experience in utilizing sales CRMs required
  • Ability to work independently and remotely required
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 60% of the time required
  • Ability to pass physical, drug, driving, and background check required
  • Alignment with company core values required

Responsibilities

  • Oversee a team of manufacturer representatives
  • Develop sales plans and strategies for your region
  • Analyze market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities
  • Prepare and conduct joint sales calls and presentations
  • Build and maintain relationships with assigned key direct accounts
  • Track and analyze sales manufacturers’ performance metrics and KPIs
  • Provide CRM reports on sales performance and sales forecasts
  • Ensure manufacturers’ representatives comply with company policies, procedures, ethical and legal requirements
  • Stay updated with product knowledge and industry trends
  • Participate in industry and prospect events
  • Manage and maintain overall responsibility for communicating project milestones
  • Discover new potential customers and new market opportunities
  • Deliver powerful presentations that communicate the uniqueness of Panelmatic’s value proposition
  • Provide reports and updates to VP of Sales on sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback as needed

Preferred Qualifications

  • Two or more years of sales experience in the utility relay panel manufacturing industry preferred
  • Two or more years of experience in the relay control house manufacturing preferred
  • Two or more years of experience working in the utility market preferred
  • Two or more years of experience working with independent sales representatives preferred
