SOX Control Tester

Summary

Join our team as a SOX Controls Tester and leverage your expertise in ITGC, automation, and expanded sample testing. This contract opportunity offers remote/onsite flexibility. Demonstrate mastery of Excel, including advanced functions and data analysis. Develop and execute automated testing scripts using Python, PowerShell, or JavaScript. Possess deep knowledge of SOX compliance and ITGC frameworks, designing, executing, and documenting control testing procedures. Identify control deficiencies and recommend remediation. Experience with Saviynt and SailPoint for identity governance is essential, along with familiarity with Oracle and SAP ERP systems. Understanding of Azure cloud services, JIRA, and GitHub is also required. Proficiency in using ticketing systems is a must.

Requirements

• Possess expertise in technical in Excel Mastery with Advanced Excel skills, including the use of complex formulas, pivot tables, macros, and data analysis tools to handle large datasets efficiently
• Possess expertise in automation Scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or JavaScript to develop and execute automated testing scripts
• Deep knowledge of SOX compliance requirements and ITGC frameworks
• Experience with Saviynt and SailPoint for identity governance and administration to support compliance and user access management
• Familiarity with Oracle and SAP to test controls related to financial reporting and IT operations
• Understanding of Azure cloud services for testing and managing IT environments
• Experience with JIRA for project management and GitHub for version control in managing code and scripts

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute automated testing scripts using Python, PowerShell, or JavaScript
• Design, execute, and document control testing procedures
• Detect potential control deficiencies and recommend effective remediation strategies
• Use ticketing systems to track issues and resolutions
