Summary
The Spanish Digital Translation Associate will prepare and execute high-quality Spanish translations of digital lessons for Multilingual Learners (MLL) students, manage pre-translation needs, support quality assurance and review processes, assist in continuous improvement of Spanish content creation processes, and engage in constant dialogue with stakeholders. The role requires fluency in English and Spanish, and knowledge of ES-US dialect.
Requirements
- Fluent in English and Spanish, and knowledgeable of ES-US dialect (written and spoken)
- 2+ years of translation and editorial experience in the K-8 education space (from English to Spanish)
- 2+ years of experience in project management, ideally within a technology or education setting
Responsibilities
- Prepare and execute high-quality Spanish translations of digital lessons for Multilingual Learners (MLL) students
- Ensure that the most up-to-date English source files are ready for Spanish translation (ES-US dialect)
- Manage pre-translation needs including file preparation and analysis of digital lessons
- Support the quality assurance and review process of Spanish translations
- Ensure consistency and accuracy in translations and across all content, based on established translations, branded terms, and relevant reference tools (i.e., Style Guide and Master Glossary)
