Spanish Language Arts Curriculum Designer - Videos, Print & Instruction

Summary

Join IXL Learning as a Spanish Language Arts Curriculum Designer and help shape exceptional K–12 language arts content. Collaborate with video creators and actors to produce engaging instructional videos on reading, writing, vocabulary, and grammar. This full-time remote position requires shaping video designs, managing projects, translating scripts, and brainstorming content improvements. You will need a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in a related field, Spanish teaching experience, and outstanding communication skills. The ideal candidate will possess aptitude for visual content, strategic thinking, and attention to detail. Experience creating instructional videos and virtual teaching is a plus.

Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Education, Spanish Linguistics, or a related field
• Spanish teaching, tutoring, or mentoring experience. Experience with a wide range of grades is a plus
• Outstanding written and spoken communication skills, including the ability to communicate clearly and concisely with a wide range of age groups
• Aptitude for using visual and textual content to convey educational concepts; graphic design experience is a plus
• Ability to think strategically and creatively solve problems
• Can-do attitude with an openness to others' ideas and a strong attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Shape the design of Spanish language arts instructional videos by reviewing creator submissions and suggesting updates for effectiveness, accuracy, and overall video production quality
• Manage projects and collaborate with curriculum designers, video creators, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality Spanish language arts instructional videos
• Translate existing English language video scripts to Spanish
• Design and produce clear, engaging videos to meet specified educational objectives
• Brainstorm ideas for improving IXL’s existing Spanish language arts content and video offerings
• Assist with other SLA curriculum design projects as needed, such as creating and reviewing standards alignments

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to quickly learn new guidelines and software; familiarity with presentation and/or video editing software is a plus
• Experience creating instructional videos and/or teaching in a virtual school is a plus
