Special Education Teacher

Summary

The job is for a Special Education Teacher at WAC who will provide special education services, manage caseloads, ensure legal compliance, and perform other duties as assigned. The position requires a Bachelor's Degree or higher in Special Education, a valid Colorado Special Education teaching license, proficiency in Google Suite, experience using Zoom, Canvas, and online teaching tools, at least 2 years of experience in the field of Special Education, and proven experience working with school staff, students, and their families. Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Special Education
• Valid Colorado Special Education teaching license
• Proficiency in Google Suite (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Drive)
• Experience using Zoom, Canvas, and online teaching tools
• Ability to pass a background check
• At least 2 years experience in the field of Special Education

Responsibilities

• Provide Special Education Services
• Manage Special Education Caseload
• Ensure that students in their caseload receive all services as outlined on their IEPs
• Special Education Legal Compliance
• Attend Special Ed L10 Meeting
• Other Duties as Assigned
