Summary
Join NiCE's DataIQ R&D Engineering team in Pune as a Specialist Software Engineer to build scalable compliance solutions for financial markets. Take end-to-end ownership of analysis, design, development, implementation, and test automation. Collaborate with stakeholders and customers to align features with their needs. Contribute to the complete software lifecycle, writing clean, testable, and maintainable code. Drive technical innovation and improvement, mentoring junior team members, and participating in scrum activities. Grow your full-stack skills through mentorship and learning opportunities. This role requires 9+ years of experience in R&D engineering and a BS/MS in CS or equivalent.
Requirements
- Frontend Development
- HTML, CSS, JavaScript – Strong fundamentals for UI development
- React.js or Angular – At least one modern JS framework/library
- Backend Development
- .Netcore 8.0, .net, C#
- RESTful API Development – Designing and consuming APIs
- Authentication & Authorization – JWT, OAuth basics
- Unit Test case writing – NUnit
- Performance metrics
- Database Knowledge
- MSSQL – Relational DB basics, joins, indexing, SP
- MongoDB – Understanding NoSQL schemas, queries(good to have)
- AWS Intermediate
- EC2 – Launching and managing virtual servers
- S3 – Object storage, bucket policies
- API Gateway – Connecting frontend with backend APIs
- CloudWatch – Basic logging and monitoring
- IAM – Understanding roles, permissions, and least privilege
- Experience with monitoring tools like Coralogix, Grafana
- Experience with CI/CD & Jenkins, Artifactory
- Experience in GenAI and AI powered tool
- Requirement gathering and Defect management using tools like QC and JIRA
- Self-motivated and fast learner with a strong sense of ownership and drive
- Good interpersonal and communication skills; friendly disposition; work effectively as a team player
- Holds very good attitude and take the accountability of the work
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- BS/MS in CS or equivalent degree
- 9+ years of experience in R&D engineering (.NetCore, Blazer, Azure, MSSQL, Specflow)
Responsibilities
- Deliver End-to-End Feature Development
- You will contribute to the complete software lifecycle—from designing responsive user interfaces to building scalable backend services
- Your ability to work across the stack will help ensure seamless, high-quality user experiences
- Your contributions will directly improve functionality, speed, and usability for our customers
- Write Clean, Testable, and Maintainable Code
- You'll follow modern development practices to ensure your code is robust and maintainable
- This includes writing unit tests, leveraging version control, and participating in peer code reviews
- Your focus on quality and consistency will reduce bugs and improve the team’s velocity over time
- Contribute to Technical Innovation and Improvement
- You’ll be encouraged to bring new ideas and suggest ways to optimize code, tools, or processes
- Whether it's automating a workflow or refactoring a component, your initiative will help shape a more efficient development environment and build your credibility as a future tech leader

Preferred Qualifications
- Lambda – Writing serverless functions (preferred)
- Experience working on Actimize solutions or Anti Money Laundering, Case Management or Fraud Detection product will be an added advantage
- Experience in financial markets compliance domain
- Experience in Big-Data
- Shell Scripting knowledge
