• Proficiency in Python and Django
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL for database management

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and improve the client's backend services written in Python/Django
• Utilize PostgreSQL, RabbitMQ, and Redis for database management, queues, caching, etc
• Work within a service-based and microservice architecture
• Migrate and potentially rewrite existing services into smaller, more efficient microservices using Django or other Python frameworks like Flask or FastAPI
• Ability to work within a collaborative and open environment
• Excellent problem-solving abilities

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with other Python frameworks such as Flask or FastAPI is a plus
