Summary

Join our team as a Senior Cúram Business Analyst and contribute to the modernization of social services systems. You will work closely with the DCAS team to assess challenges, identify improvement opportunities, and design solutions. This role requires experience with Medicaid, SNAP/TANF, and Cúram software. Responsibilities include data analysis, process improvement, documentation, and stakeholder communication. You will lead requirement gathering sessions, design functional approaches, and support testing and training. The position is remote and offers a 12-month+ contract.

Requirements

  • Have experience using Cúram Global Income Support and HealthCare Reform Business Application Suite
  • Have experience in Data Analysis and data presentation
  • Have experience in planning and leading JAD sessions and creating functional design documents
  • Possess excellent interpersonal skills, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Have an understanding of design and development concepts and familiarity with design patterns and the SDLC

  • Have prior experience of working with Medicaid, SNAP/TANF and other Social Services programs
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field or equivalent experience
  • Planning, coordinating, and monitoring project activities (16 Years)
  • Leading projects, ensuring they are in compliance with established standards/procedures (16 Years)
  • Experience in Information Tech Project management and analytical skills on a mid-large scale IT project with a particular focus on the Change Mgmt. (10 Years)
  • Experience designing job aids and training scripts for both external and internal audiences (8 Years)
  • Experience in Business Process Design and analytical skills (8 Years)
  • Curam Experience (7 Years)
  • Data analytics experience (7 Years)
  • Proven ability to design and execute communication plans and work with internal and external staff in a diverse multi-tiered environment (5 Years)
  • Experience with designing and implementing an accurate metric measuring system to gauge acceptance and knowledge of training sessions and manuals (5 Years)
  • Experience in efficiently utilizing the Microsoft Office suite, especially (Power Point, Excel, Word; Visio) (4 Years)
  • Training lead role, working as the liaison between stakeholders in the design development of computer system and policy training presentation material (4 Years)
  • Exp. developing, maintaining and administering online learning, stand-up training and knowledge transfer through other methods (4 Years)
  • Exp. producing and editing written documentation where appropriate for online learning, stand-up training and knowledge transfer (4 Years)
  • Experience working on an IT project or a Cots package implementation (3 Years)
  • Experience operating in a Health Care related IT System (2 Years)

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the DCAS technical workstreams and functional team to assess current challenges and identify opportunities of business process improvement via system design and modernization efforts
  • Evaluate current processes and recommend areas for improvement and optimization
  • Become an integral part of the client Team, making every problem associated to the platform a problem of their own and demonstrate the required initiative and critical thinking abilities necessary to resolve all problems and challenges accordingly
  • Provide status reporting, quality assurance monitoring and ensure adherence to procedures
  • Serve as a liaison between project teams, and vendors ensuring that everyone is aligned with the project goals and requirements
  • Review the Triage defect that gets raised from the Production environment, prioritize, and groom the backlog
  • Review and validate deliverables submitted by the vendors
  • Data analysis and create the metrics for all the CSL tickets raised by the end customers
  • Quality Control of all the technical workstreams
  • Define and maintain the end-to-end process for functional Batch executions
  • Documentation and Governance by maintaining comprehensive documentation for project transparency, compliance, and knowledge management
  • Draft Standard Operating Procedures
  • Prepare technical team presentations
  • Provide system analysis, development, and production support
  • Design functional approaches to customize functionality using the Cúram Business Application Suite
  • Serve as a lead team member in the planning and execution of testing, training, support of user testing and customer support post implementation
  • Lead requirement gathering sessions, according to agree upon project scope for various areas of the application
  • Participate in/lead systems analysis and gap analysis
  • Produce client-approved deliverables required in standard project development including functional requirements, training content, job aids, use cases, requirements traceability matrix, test cases and plans
  • Support team members through the development and testing of your functional designs
  • Coordinates IT project management, engineering, maintenance, QA, and risk management
  • Plans, coordinates, and monitors project activities
  • Develops technical applications to support users
  • Develops, implements, maintains and enforces documented standards and procedures for the design, development, installation, modification, and documentation of assigned systems
  • Provides training for system products and procedures
  • Performs application upgrades
  • Performs, monitoring, maintenance, or reporting on real-time databases, real-time network and serial data communications, and real-time graphics and logic applications
  • Troubleshoots problems
  • Ensures project life-cycle is in compliance with District standards and procedures

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience working with the Cúram software product or other COTS (Commercial Off The Shelf) products
  • Experience using project tracking tools such as Jira and SharePoint
