Sr. Engineering Technical Program Manager, VR

Summary

The job is for a Technical Program Manager in Axon's Virtual Reality team. The role involves driving operational excellence, collaborating with various teams, and ensuring data collection and analysis. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software/Electrical Engineering, Data Science, or other related field
• 5+ years professional experience in leading and managing system/software delivery, with at least 2 specifically in a technical program management role
• 2+ years professional experience at a AA/AAA Game Studio in either technical program management, software engineering, or project management role
• High degree of competency and proven success with project management including: Agile Software Development Lifecycle methodology, identifying and managing risks, tracking dependencies and milestones, and communicating overall project status
• Experienced with enterprise SaaS or other mission critical software product is a plus
• Experienced with cloud IaaS and PaaS offering such as AWS and Azure is a plus

Responsibilities

• Drive process improvements within VR Engineering to build better faster so the teams are more effective and can deliver with higher velocity because of your impact
• Understand the cross-discipline needs of the VR pillar as a whole and drive our operations to ensure we are deliberate and enabling partner as we collectively revolutionize law enforcement training
