Sr. Frontend Developer /React

Summary

Mismo is a company that helps businesses build remote engineering teams. The candidate will join a small team of engineers and take ownership of projects from concept to delivery using TypeScript, React/Redux, Node.js, and other technologies. Mismo is looking for an expert software engineer with experience in TypeScript, JavaScript, SQL, and APIs, as well as excellent communication skills.

Requirements

• Expertise as a software engineer who’s capable of taking on large, complex projects and reducing them into smaller, more manageable pieces
• Experience with TypeScript or other typed programming languages
• Proficiency in JavaScript, Node.js, and single-page applications (SPAs)
• Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in SQL, relational databases, and data modeling
• Strong experience integrating with third-party APIs

Preferred Qualifications

• Desire to constantly learn and grow both personally and professionally
• Portfolio of past work and/or open-source contributions
• Familiarity with Excel or other spreadsheet programs
• Familiarity with finance, accounting, statistics, or other mathematics disciplines
• Experience working in startups
