Requirements

  • Experience: 5+ years of inventory planning within the consumer goods sector
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business administration, or a related field
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in inventory management systems and ERP software. Strong analytical and data management skills
  • Communication: Excellent communication abilities for effective internal coordination and external client relations
  • Analytical Abilities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach
  • Strategic thinker with a focus on balancing efficiency and cost-effectiveness
  • Extremely well organized. Ability to handle multiple tasks and multiple clients
  • Proactive in identifying and resolving potential inventory issues
  • Team player with a results-driven mindset

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive inventory analysis to maintain optimal stock levels across various brand product categories for multiple clients
  • Collaborate with clients’ sales and marketing teams to accurately predict demand and adjust inventory levels to meet these forecasts
  • Efficiently overseeing a large number of SKUs across multiple brands, ensuring optimal product availability and diversity
  • Collaborate on new product launches, working closely with the client to provide reasonable launch planning that is quickly adaptable as sales history develops
  • Provide informed recommendations on purchasing quantities based on inventory analysis and demand forecasts
  • Regularly generate reports on inventory status, turnover rates, and related metrics. Utilize data analytics to identify trends and inform inventory planning decisions
  • Engage in necessary communication with suppliers and vendors to obtain necessary inventory-related information
  • Work closely with departments such as finance and marketing to ensure inventory plans align with overall business objectives and market trends
  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve inventory management processes and implement best practices
