Responsibilities

  • Create standards and identify innovative construction improvements
  • Ownership of tools and processes involved in managing the execution of project deliverables and ensure compliance with project timelines and standards
  • Acquire all necessary permits and ensure rigorous adherence to project specifications
  • Enhance team collaboration and communication across all project stakeholders, internally and externally
  • Collaborate with those supervising the generation and organization of project reports and technical documents and maintain strict control over project documentation
  • Champion professional development of Construction Engineers and Field Engineers by designing and executing development plan training and certifications
  • Regularly attend and contribute to technical meetings, maintaining detailed records of discussions and action items
  • Contribute to the assessment of risk identification, project objectives, scheduling constraints, and adherence to contractual obligations and company policies
  • Provide guidance to Construction Engineers and Field Engineers through project schedules while verifying earned-value assumptions and productivity claims
  • Participate in analyzing personnel, equipment, and material failures and help implement appropriate corrective measures
  • Provide technical guidance to the Self-Perform construction department
  • Develop, publish, and distribute construction specification manuals to ensure adherence to construction requirements, minimize construction costs, and ensure compliance with industry standards and codes
