Sr. Manager Payroll Tax Services

Summary

Join BambooHR as a Sr. Manager of Payroll Tax Services to lead and oversee multiple payroll tax-related production functions, manage a team of approximately 50 employees, and ensure the timely and accurate processing of payroll corrections, amended returns, tax notices, and print & mail functions.

Requirements

• In current role for at least 9+ months
• At least 3-5 years in a managerial role
• Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in payroll tax services
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree or CPA certification is preferred

Responsibilities

• Oversee teams responsible for payroll corrections and amendments to payroll tax filings, research and resolution of tax notices as needed
• Develop and implement strategies to improve payroll tax processing efficiency and accuracy
• Oversee print administration related to payroll tax documents and payroll services
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of payroll tax services with overall payroll operations

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of payroll tax regulations, compliance requirements, and best practices
• Proven experience in a payroll services environment, including familiarity with payroll processing, compliance regulations, and client management
