Summary

The job is for a Senior Medicare & Medicaid Manager at Rula, a mental healthcare company. Requirements

  • Deep experience with Medicare or Medicare Advantage program management, including familiarity with CMS regulations and compliance requirements
  • Advanced expertise with Medicaid program management, including knowledge of state and federal laws/regulations related to Medicaid program administration
  • Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of work experience
  • 5+ years of dedicated experience in healthcare industry, with acute knowledge of healthcare operations, policies, and procedures
  • Proficiency in managing complex projects and processes, including the ability to lead cross-functional teams, and juggling multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Demonstrated analytical skills with the proficiency to interpret data and make informed judgements to improve program performance
  • Strong instincts on how to set up processes that are efficient and will scale well, with knowledge in designing, documenting, training, and rolling out new initiatives

Responsibilities

  • Helping Rula launch and grow both the Medicare, Medicaid, and Medicare Advantage books of business nationally
  • Working directly with Rula’s Product, Billing, Support, Compliance, and Provider teams to launch Medicare and Medicaid nationally and deliver an excellent experience for patients, providers, and payer partners

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience at a high growth start up
  • Past exposure in a consultancy capacity, working directly within mental health/behavioral health services, particularly in a Medicare/Medicaid context
  • Experience in a leadership role with at least one direct report
