Sr. Purchasing Agent

Summary

The job is for a Senior Purchasing Agent at ICAST, a nonprofit focused on delivering green upgrades to multifamily affordable housing properties. The role involves managing procurement, negotiating with vendors, and maintaining sub-contractor agreements. Requirements

• 15 Years’ experience performing Federally funded procurement in the multifamily, residential renovation, or new construction industries
• Prior experience in managing and executing contract agreements and change orders
• Procurement policy writing / authoring experience with Federal and or State (DOE, EPA) funds and other grant funded projects

Preferred Qualifications

• Demonstrable ability to read and understand product specifications for construction-related materials such as Heat Pump-based HVAC systems
• Prior experience with Davis Bacon wage reporting
• Excellent attention to detail with an analytical mindset
• Strong negotiation skills
• Proficiency with M365 suite of products (Outlook, Word, Excel etc.)
• Some experience with Smartsheet project management software
• Some experience with SAGE Intacct accounting software
